About Us
The Tyndale Foundation exists to honor the legacy of William Tyndale by educating people on the Bible’s impact on the English language, history, and faith. We are committed to preserving Scripture, promoting understanding, and equipping future generations to engage with God’s Word.
Because the Word belongs to everyone.
The Tyndale Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes and is registered as a Tennessee Non-profit Corporation.
The purpose of the organization is to educate the public on the historical, literary, and spiritual significance of the Bible and its foundational role in the development of the English language. Inspired by the work of William Tyndale, whose translation shaped modern English, the Foundation seeks to make Scripture accessible and understood through educational programs, publications, curriculum, workshops, and community outreach.
The organization may provide classes, lectures, digital resources, and learning initiatives designed to increase understanding of the Bible as a sacred text and as a cornerstone of English language, culture, and moral thought.
Why Tyndale Foundation?
William Tyndale believed that every person should have access to the Word of God in a language they could understand. At a time when Scripture was restricted to the educated few, he courageously translated the Bible into English so ordinary people could read it for themselves. His work not only transformed faith, but also shaped the English language as we know it today.
Tyndale’s sacrifice laid the foundation for the English Bible and inspired generations to seek truth through God’s Word. We honor his legacy by continuing his mission—making Scripture accessible, understandable, and meaningful for all.
Our Mission & Vision
The mission of The Tyndale Foundation is to educate and inspire people by revealing the biblical foundations of the English language and preserving the legacy of Scripture, so that every generation may read, understand, and value the Word of God.
Our vision is a world where people recognize the Bible’s lasting influence on language, culture, and faith, and are empowered to live with truth, purpose, and understanding.
